In 2020, we were caught off guard by the pandemic. In response to the various mandates across the country, the City of Albuquerque reached out to RK Venture to develop a public service announcement that would not only promote social distancing but also stand out from other animated ads. Our solution was the NEVER campaign, which aimed to encourage people to get tested, maintain safe distances, and wear masks.
The video features animated kinetic typography along with the personal testimony of a man who unknowingly carried COVID-19, as he was asymptomatic.
